Tales of a Transdisciplinary Journey: Evolving Social-Ecological Theories, Methodologies and Methods in Pastoral Systems.

This seminar aims to provide PhD students with insights into different research approaches and methodologies used in sustainability and climate resilience research. The invited speaker will introduce their research and discuss the theoretical and conceptual frameworks that underpin their work. Particular attention will be given to how these frameworks shape methodological choices, data collection, analysis, and the interpretation of research findings. The seminar will encourage critical reflection on research design and interdisciplinary approaches while fostering an interactive discussion with participants. It is designed to support PhD students in strengthening the conceptual and methodological foundations of their own research and to inspire them through the experience and perspectives of an established researcher.
