WP 6: Country coordinator Morocco
Prof. Dr. Said Aghrib is the country coordinator for Morocco in WP 6: Urban Precarious Outdoor Workers' Weather- and Climate-related Knowledge ∞ Action Networks.
A jurist by training, Saïd AGHRIB is a Professor of Higher Education (PES) at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences (FSJES) in Marrakech. As a leading academic figure, he focuses his research on the dynamics of International Economic Law, with a strong specialization in international investment law and territorial governance.
Scientific and Pedagogical Leadership
Authorized to direct research (Habilitation - PH) since 2006, he leads the Research Laboratory on International Cooperation for Development (LRCID). His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his coordination of the Master’s program in "International Investment Law and Territorial Development" and his leadership of the Doctoral cycle in Public Law. His expertise is rooted in a rigorous academic career, culminated by a State Doctorate focusing on the Moroccan treatment of international investments and its integration into the global economy.

Professor AGHRIB’s career is distinguished by a multi-dimensional approach to law, bridging the gap between global challenges and local realities:
International Influence : He has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Hague Academy of International Law and the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg. His work has led him to participate in Mediterranean research networks and North-South cooperation projects.
Societal Commitments: An expert in human development issues, he has published extensively on the rights of rural women and intellectual property (ACA2K). His recent research also addresses agricultural investment in the face of climate change, climate justice, and sustainable agriculture
