Climares visits Deltares

CLIMARES members visited one of our partners, Deltares in their campus in Delft, the Netherlands. Members were received by Ruben Dahm, Expert consultant on hydrology & flood risks and member of the WP 2: Co-producing Actionable Weather & Climate Information from CLIMARES. There was a significant information exchange starting from the origin and projects of Deltares by Biance Peters, Director Strategic Partners and Client Relationships, including an example of climate storyline in Mozambique. Other projects related to Climate Resilience were presented in breakout-rooms. The day continued with a hybrid session with live translated captions to French including information about Knowledge-Action Networks, storylines and next steps from CLIMARES project, by Thea Hilhorst, the Principal Investigator of CLIMARES. The day was concluded with Serious Games led by Fleur Monasso and Tesse de Boer of the Climate Centre. It was a great opportunity for Partners and PhD researchers to get together to work towards CLIMARES objectives.
